Menu for The Week of October 17, 2009

In my area, the leaves are finally starting to turn, and apple season is in full swing.  So are fall gardens, which is why I’m using a few spring items again that many people plant for fall use.  We’ll have a pork loin and sides with classic flavors of fall as well as a seafood dish with fall garden flavors; a couple of Mediterranean nights; and then head east with a couple of nights in India before we head home for a classic Chinese-American-style supper.  The bonus recipe this week is really fun, versatile, and involves chocolate! Menu for the Week of September 26, 2009

This week we’re going to spend most of our time around the Mediterranean.  From a crockpot chicken with Greek/Italian flair that will get a new twist in wraps later in the week, to Italian sausages that will put the ones at the fair to shame, and an interesting French tuna salad, we come back to the U.S. with great big inside-out burgers and spicy Deviled Pork Chops.  The bonus recipe this week is for intriguing seasonal non-alcoholic coolers your whole family will love.
