			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s still continuing to be unseasonably chilly here, so my mind is set further into the year than it actually is, given that the trees in my yard have not started to change yet, and most trees in my area are still green!  But we&#8217;re having constant rain and chill.  Not the weather I want to be grilling in.  So this week, I have a couple of things on the menu you *could* grill, if it&#8217;s still warm where you are.  But you could also do them on the stovetop or a tabletop grill.  We&#8217;ll being doing our own little Oktoberfest using the slow cooker; a little with Mediterranean flavors; even a little trip to India mid-week.  And then some classic but contemporary American dishes.  If you don&#8217;t have a slow cooker, you&#8217;ll be seeing it more and more in my recipes.  I use a programmable 7 quart model.
