It has been incredibly hot for much of the U.S. this week, but some relief may be on the way, depending on where you live. We’re still being snowed under with all kinds of produce. If you have a farmer’s market near you, now is the time where you can get a huge variety of produce pretty inexpensively in most cases! I’ve been seeing many of my late-planted heirloom tomatoes ripen this past week, including the Siberian tomatoes, which are perfect for the Guacomato recipe on the menu this week. Siberians do extremely well in cooler temperatures, so even though they’re doing ok now, I’m hoping to see them really take off once it’s fall.
Still working on the old, slower laptop, but hoping the bigger computer can be restored soon. Tech support is soooo slow!
